Every member of staff I encountered was helpful and friendly
Bathroom had interesting toiletries

Collioure is a beautiful place to visit, there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops to visit. There are 4 beaches and interesting buildings. Apartment Olive & Kin is a short walk into the town, the apartment is well equipped and comfortable we are already looking to visit again later in the year.

Collioure is an absolutely beautiful coastal French small city, not far north of the Spanish border. As such, it comfortably merges French and Catalan culture which enhances its allure as a tourist destination. As an example, we had tapas on three of our seven nights in Collioure. We also food shopped at a number of local markets, which provided a selection of amazing cheeses, wine, bread, and Spanish hams. The beaches are typical Mediterranean rocky, but the water is gloriously clean and clear.

Very nice little village at the sea.
Very nice little village at the sea. Several beaches, lot of restaurants and shops. Very Catalan, close to the Spanish border. Easy to get around, just walking. Possibility to rent bikes, take a boat trip and a lot more. Nice food with a touch of Spain (Catalan) some regional wines an several winerys to visit. The wine is kind of mineral to taste, not the greatest area in France for wine, but ok.

Once you are in the town and parked then there's no need to go anywhere else for a while. There are plenty of restaurants, a great art museum, good local walks, good beaches and it is neither loud nor too large.

Friends had told us how lovely this beach town is, so we decided to stay a couple days. The town is charming with lovely seaside pebble beaches. The old section of town has many cafes and fine dining restaurants from which to choose.
Walking is the best mode of transportation. Driving isn't necessary. Once we arrived, we parked the care and didn't use it again until we left.

Collioure is the most beautiful old fishing village, that has also played host to artists like Matisse, Picasso and Rennie MacIntosh. The beaches are a great base for snorkelling, though some sort of water shoe would be recommended as it is stony not sandy.
There is no shortage of places to eat, though we found ourselves often at Cafe Sole for drinks and tapas. Do remember this is a bar that stays open all year round, and do not be offended if the patron appears to favour his regulars over tourists - they are his year round income, tourists are a 2 month boost. He is a pleasant guy with excellent english.
Collioure is a place to walk. Parking is not easy, far better to arrive by train.
Pluses and minuses for this hotel. First, the location is in the in the old town of Collioure and we had a nice view of the harbour from our room. That's why we booked it. The bed was adequate and the inexpensive breakfast was classic 2-star fare. Fine, but nothing special. The art in the hotel is super. Paintings line the hallways and you can well imagine the Impressionists staying here in their heyday. Elevator was good. Although the hotel has no parking, their is reasonably-priced pay parking literally four minutes away.
Collioure is a magical coastal town and Roches Brunes has the very best location. The only problem is that they have a very small parking lot off the main coastal road. When you arrive, you will be blocking traffic until someone opens the gate for you. If they are short of space, you are out of luck. There restaurant is excellent-now recognized by Michelin, and is fair value for the quality of the cooking-with some Italian influence.
Everything about this hotel is wonderful....this is our third stay. The location is perfect for enjoying peace and quiet in the spacious courtyard, yet just steps away from town filled with numerous shopping and dining choices. Staff are helpful and resourceful, the breakfast is bountiful and great quality. Lounge by the pool with the fountains as background music....a piece of heaven!
The location is right in the centre of town 5 minutes walk from the port. The property is well maintained and particularly breakfast in the courtyard is stunning. Best feature of the hotel: the team at Casa Pairal was outstanding! Recommendations, any help or support needed, a friendly word - absolutely amazing and charming! I’d come back anytime…
Our room was very comfortable. loved that the windows opened out to view the mountain. very close to the beaches, cafes and shopping. you can leave your luggage if you arrive early. there is parking out in front of the hotel but only a few spots which might be full. parking at Glacis is just across the street and not too expensive.
I spent a night at La Fregate and I had the bes experience because I was able to leave my luggage while I could do my check in. The service I received from a lady in the front desk was remarcable, we talked in Spanish and made me feel more comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and the breakfast buffet was really good.
The hotel is a nice boutique hotel, the rooms are small but adequate if you're only staying for a few nights. The breakfast was very limited for 16€ each
Its an up hill or steep steps walk back from Collioure centre so not for the elderly.
The staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming.
the location was excellent, the paintings on the walls of the hotel of the local scenery by the fauvists Derain etc were uplifting , a clever idea.
I missed seeing one by Charles Rennie Mc Intosh ( there is a print exhibited next to the the diving gear harbour near the hotel)
A wonderful peaceful retreat within walking distance of the delightful seaside village of Collioure.
Would highly recommend this guesthouse, which also includes off street parking.
Thank you Nathalie.
Cute and simple bed and bath. Comfortable and secure. The owner was very accommodating and genuinely appreciated our patronage. She made our first visit to Collioure pleasant and enjoyable.
Great location. Quiet, clean & very comfy bed. Best sleep we’ve had on our whole trip. Collioure is lovely in the out of season months. The weather was great & we did some lovely walks.
